This beautiful girls name is Portia. She has been with us about two days and unfortunately we have no choice but to board her at our kennel until she finds a foster or forever home. She is petite, calm and sweet and she clearly loves people and affection. She looks at you with those big beautiful eyes and you cannot resist bending over to give her a big kiss which she eagerly returns.

We took Portia on a walk today along with our puppy Hooch and although she does not jump up and pull like a one year old, she has plenty of spunk and energy and is very strong. She also enjoyed a romp in the snow with Hooch who she got along with very well.

We cannot imagine why anyone would give up this well - behaved well socialized baby, but unfortunately we found her at a local shelter. It is obvious that she was not fed well , she should be at least 15 lbs heavier.
