Rock is doing great in his foster home. He is in foster with Margo one of the NJ boxers that was just adopted out a few months ago. He is super sweet and has a great athletic build. He loves to run and listens very well when he is told to do things. He is housebroken and a love bug. Rocks foster Mom writes:

Rock has found a foster home!!! This big, beautiful boxer boy is a delight to have around. Although his size (he's all muscle), is intimidating at first, it is only a matter of minutes until you see what a sweet and gentle dog he is.

He has been with his foster family for three weeks and he is just the best. He is housebroken and knows commands such as: outside, sit, paw, lie down, off. He does not jump up on people, which is a good thing because he would surely knock them over, but when our other boxer is getting hugs and kisses, he gets a bit excited and pushes his way in for his share as well. He loves to have his belly rubbed and head scratched.

When it is time to eat, he cleans his plate and that of his boxer foster sister's. ( but only after she is finished).  He is not phased by the resident cat, nor do other animals outside make him overly curious. He does not counter surf nor beg at the table. He lies down where he is told to when his foster family is having meals.  He does occasionally like to nip at the indoor plants which of course make his stomach a bit uneasy but we are working on that.

Rock very much loves people and all he asks is love in return. He tries very hard to please and does a great job of it.

Rock is a 3yr old fawn male boxer with natural ears and a docked tail. He is neutered and up to date on his shots.

He is a great dog in need of a great home. He lived with his boxer mix sister up until last week when the landlord made his owner take them to a shelter in PA. The owner took back the mix and the shelter manager assured him he would get rescue to help the Rock. He is good with other dogs and kids. He is very friendly and loves everyone. He is housebroken and not destructive. He is a great guy. Scranton boxerrescue

Right now our kennel is full and our fosters are too.

Scranton boxerrescue-picture will follow after we get to the shelter to take it, thanks.
