11/21/03 Update We have gotten to know Laura very well. She is a very sweet, affectionate, nice dog once she knows you. At first Laura is so frightened of everyone and everything. Laura's history is unknown and I am pretty sure she has been bounced around from place to place. She has no trust in new people and will bark when someone approaches. We give strangers food to hand her and then she becomes fast friends with them. She is GREAT around cats and children BUT must be placed in a home WILLING to work with her. !0/26/03 Laura is a 1 year old fawn female. Her family (for the past 6 weeks) moved to NY from down south. They are living in a tiny place with several cats, 2 Boston Terriers, and 3 children. Because the living situation is not large enough they are forced to surrender Laura to us. She is an affectionate young dog. She is crate trained and will make a great addition to any family. If you are interested in adopting this dog, please fill out an online application first.
