UPDATE ON TYSON: Looking for a high energy dog? Look no further…Tyson’s the one. He is always on the move and just LOVES to play, play, play. He loves balls and will play with a large ball by himself for an hour (or with a tennis ball--if you throw it to him, he will run after it and bring it back to you…usually). Tyson’s perfect home would be with someone who leads an active lifestyle and will include him in their daily activities. He definitely needs an outlet for all of his energy. ANY RUNNERS OR HIKERS OUT THERE? He would be a great companion for you! He seems to get along with other dogs, but does best when they are somewhat submissive and don’t mind his activity level. He walks well on a leash and knows sit and lie down, however additional training is a must for this young guy, since he can get a little pushy when he wants your attention. A home with young children is not recommended because Tyson can be a bit jumpy when he wants to play; and a home that has previous experience with boxers (or other active dog) would also be a plus. Won’t you open your home to this great boxer boy who just loves life?! 10/20/03 - Tyson I had so much fun today meeting Tyson. This 8 month old puppy gave me the BEST Boxer kisses. He was surrendered to rescue when his owners decided they had no time to take care of him. Tyson's ears were cropped but one does not stand up straight. He has very cute markings and will make some family a great companion. We can place him with children because he is young but they can not be under 5 because we do not know if he has lived with children.
