Rocky Road has been in his new foster home for several weeks and he is doing great. He has such a fun time playing with our two female boxers, age 3 and 6 months. He is a very sweet dog and extremely devoted to whomever will be lucky enough to have this sweet boy. The first night he stayed with us, he slept on our bed and now knows that is his place to lay, along with the two other boxers! Rocky doesn't seem to mind our 16 year old cocker spaniel and he is gentleman enough to know that he is the "alpha dog", even if it is in his own mind. He slept so soundly and peacefully the first night that he was here , that you could hear him snoring downstairs! 

Rocky Road is learning to play with dog toys and knows to bark is someone is at the door. He never leaves our side. He is going to make someone very happy. Rocky is very well behaved and has wonderful manners. 

2/23/04 - Rocky Road

Rocky is a 5-6 yr. old male boxer that was owned his whole life by the same family. He is good with other dogs and lived with another dog and a cat. He also lived with 2 kids that are now 15 and 18. Can you imagine how this dog must feel, brought into the shelter and left there after years of loyal service to this family. He was not up to date on shots and not neutered but will be this week. He loves to go for car rides and loves to play ball and Frisbee. He knows sit, stay and other commands. Please help us help Rocky.
