3/18/05 - Daisy and Sierra are seven year old spayed Boxer girls.  They are from the same litter and have been together since the day they were born.  Therefore, we will only place them as a pair. They have natural ears and docked tails, and both weigh about 45 pounds.

These girls came to Vermont from North Carolina with their single household “family“.  However, they were given to Boxer rescue because of a life change.  Daisy and Sierra’s “dad” moved into a home with his girlfriend whom already had two dogs.  They were unable to keep four dogs, so sadly Daisy and Sierra had to go.

Daisy and Sierra are very well-trained girls.  They enjoy cuddling up so close together that sometimes you think you are seeing one dog with two heads.  Daisy is the laid back girl who loves everyone and is happiest on the couch with her head on your lap.  Sierra may take a bit to warm up to a person, but is very affectionate when she does.  They both love to go on walks, and love to play with each other outside.  They are accustomed to being allowed on furniture - especially the couch - but they also enjoy sleeping on their special dog bed.

Sierra has an large under bite which causes her tongue to always stick out, but it is very endearing.  Both girls are totally house broken and are accustomed to being left alone up to eight hours a day…they are given free run of the home with no problems.  They are great with all dogs and can live with kids ten years old and up.  Daisy and Sierra are sweet little girls that are easy keepers.  They will be happy doing whatever you like to do, and have been classified as “wash and wear Boxers“.  It really doesn’t take much to keep these girls happy.  They will fit into most home situations, but we will not be placing these girls with cats.
