Bailey is a Name a Boxer dog!
Thank you Mark Peckham for naming Bailey.

5/8/05 - Bailey has been adopted!

4/28/05 - An update from Bailey's foster family.

" Just a quick update on Bailey.  He is settling in just fine. He acts as though he has always been here.  Everyone he meets becomes his new best friend.  His foster brother is slowly but surely learning to accept him.  They have a typical sibling love/hate relationship!  At the end of the day, they both snuggle in bed with us.  Bailey is definitely the younger sibling, following Mugsy's every move.  He just finished his first bath and was successful at attacking the towel that dried him off -- he is such a tough guy!! We're not sure how he does alone in the house because he has yet to be alone.  He goes with us wherever we go, including work where he has become somewhat of a celebrity.  He gets along well with all the other dogs and humans.   That's it for now!"

4/8/05 -Bailey is being surrendered for a reason we hear quite often, “we do not have enough time to devote to a dog”. People tend to forget that having a dog in the family is not a short term investment but a life long commitment.

Bailey was living with a young child. He likes other dogs, however, cats would be a new frontier for this pup.

This little boy can get into trouble all by himself if he is left alone for long periods of time. He has been known to chew a shoe or two which is not surprising since he is now left alone for up to nine hours and crated. This is typical behavior from a dog that is bored.

Bailey is housebroken. He has been to clicker training classes and knows sit, stay, come and down, although these skills need some honing ;o)

He loves to play with ALL of his toys…”squeakys” are his favorite.

This canine clown loves to go for car rides and enjoys the attention when he is being primped and bathed…although we are not sure if he can swim.

Bailey will need a fenced in yard and a home that is willing to give him the attention and time he justly deserves.
