4/30/05 - The Shelter has found Karma a home! 4/21/05 - Karma is a 2 1/2 yr old spayed female American Pit Bull Terrier. A shelter that we work with all the time asked us if we could help them find a home for an exceptional dog that has been overlooked at the shelter because of her breed. We were only asked to post Karma on our web site in hopes of finding her a home, but we would love to take her into our rescue program if we can find someone to foster her. Please help Karma by offering to adopt or foster. PLEASE NOTE that a trainer has agreed to offer free training for Karma for life to anyone who adopts her within a reasonable distance to central CT.Below is Karma's description from the shelter:
Karma came to us as a stray and has made a huge impact on all the employees here. Karma is
the most devoted, intelligent, and loving dog I have met in a very long time. She is housebroken,
loves to ride in the car, play fetch, and most of all sit in your lap for a cuddle and a nap. She
seems fine with cats but is not keen on other dogs though she is very manageable and never goes out of
her way to cause trouble. Karma is approx. 40-45lbs black with white on her chest. If you are interested in adopting this dog, please fill out an online application first.
