2/11/06 - Honey has been adopted!! 10/3/05 - Here's another sad story. Honey has been in her home since she was a puppy but now needs to find a new family for her golden years. Honey is a very sweet and playful 9-year-old brindle female. All we really know about her past is that she had lived with the same family until last week; they decided they just didn't want her anymore and brought her to the vet to be "put to sleep". Luckily the vet was able to convince Honey's family to surrender her to the hospital instead. While she likes most mature dogs, she does not appreciate puppy antics and is just a little too interested in cats for our comfort. Honey is in a foster home now with children ages 14 years and 10 years old. She is a perfect houseguest and acts as if she has always been there. This well-behaved girl loves to go for walks and rides in the car. She sleeps on her own bed at night and would love to be invited up on the furniture. Honey is not asking for much. She has been a faithful companion to her family for 9 years and is ready
