12/14/06 - Foster Home Needed!

Unfortunately Sugar is in need of a new foster home due to a unexpected medical issue with her foster mom. Sugar is now in a boarding/doggie daycare situation, and misses being with her family. Please consider adopting or fostering this loving older boxer. Sugar really needs you.

Sugar is as sweet as her name. She is getting along well with my two other dogs, and have only had minor "getting to know you" difficulties. Although she is 8 1/2 years old, this little dynamo has the energy to keep up with the other dogs who are both under 2.

Sugar was surrendered to a shelter in Philadelphia after the family that she had been with since 4 months old was forced to move and could not take her with them. This petite sweetheart is well socialized around strangers. She is very friendly, and loves to be petted and hugged. Sugar is very quiet and I have not yet heard her bark once!

Sugar has a good appetite and appears to be potty trained. She has had no accidents in the house. She walks well on a leash and does not pull. She is very well behaved, and sits when asked. Although she does not like to go into her crate, she settles down after about 5 minutes.

Sugar is a great dog and I do not understand how a family could have given her up.
