10/2009: LOOK AT ME NOW! Update ...

Just wanted you to know that Sadie our boxer is doing just great, she is our apple of our eyes!  We adopted another male boxer and named Hanz which is interoperated as Gift from God!   We always make sure that Sadie does everything first, as in eating, exiting to go outside to the bathroom area, my wife Diane gave Sadie a Pad moisturizing treatment today and did her nails with the new battery operated nail trimmer.   In a nut shell Sadie is doing great and we want you to know that she is spoiled to perfection, We love Sadie so much and she has mellowed out somewhat as long as she gets her exercise, she is still thin, but muscle mass exceeds what is common in a boxer her size.   We still use Canidane food along with healthy treats, Sadie has come such a long ways from the wild young girls when we received her into our home as our forever family member, Sadie loves to play with Hanz which is so gentle with her, Sadie loves our walks and our fence allows Sadie and Hanz to have the run of our entire yard where they both enjoy their freedom to play while at the same time containing their safety!  Jane, thank you for trusting us with Sadie.

God Bless,   Wayne, Diane, Sadie, and Hanz Bassett

3/13/07 - Sadie has been adopted!!

12/14/06 -  Foster Home Needed!

Little girl Sadie will melt your heart not only with her good looks but also with her sweet personality.  Sadie craves attention and would love to be the center of somebody's world. Her family loved her, but their busy hectic lifestyle did not leave much time to meet the needs of a 1 year old boxer.  She began to exhibit some destructive and annoying behaviors that her family couldn't live with so they called us and asked for intervention.

Sadie has begun going to doggie day care and so far she is doing fantastic.  She seems to love playing and romping with her canine companions.  She was never exposed to other dogs before so this is really fun for her.  She also gets to expend all that puppy energy in a positive way.

Sadie's new family must be willing to provide her with not only the love she so deserves, but also the nurturing and attention she needs.  Whoever adopts Sadie must be able to devote time to her and have the resources to help her overcome some of her behavioral issues.  We will not place her in a home with children under 16 years old.  She needs to be the new "baby" in the family.  If you believe that you can offer Sadie this kind of home, please complete our adoption application and email us.
