RAIDEN…..A real cuddle bug!

Raiden is a beautiful puppy who came into rescue because of unfortunate circumstances with her family.  They were sad to give her up, but they were no longer able to afford her care.  They were forced to consider taking Raiden to a shelter and we could not let that happen.  We will be scheduling a medical appointment for an exam and to get her spayed; she will be available for adoption after she recovers from her surgery.  Below is a report from her foster home.

“Raiden is a very sweet 8 month old reverse brindle female boxer with white markings on her chest, tips of paws, and small wish bone like markings on her face.  She rides well in the car in a dog seat belt harness, although she did whimper on the ride to our home.  Our 6 year old female boxer and her were introduced with no problems.

Raiden loves to play, run, and be close to family members around the home.  She does OK on her walks with a little pulling.  She doesn't run off far when in the yard, just loves to snoop around and see what's around.  She doesn't mind being in the crate, but she does whimper and bark for a little while when she's left alone in her crate.  While in the kitchen she does love to smell around and see what's on top of the counter.

Raiden has been very playful and gentle with my son with no jumping, just lots of kisses and kidney-bean dancing.  She is eating well and loves snacking on a kong filled with peanut butter and treats.  Raiden loves to cuddle up with you and give lots of kisses.  With my husband she plays a little more assertive and likes to jump, but with me and my son is very gentle in her play.  She knows her basic commands, knows how to give you her paw, and listens well.

We feel Raiden will do best with a family or person who has time for her and will not leave her alone for long periods of time.  She does not mind being in her crate for a brief period of time, although she prefers to be out and about with someone.  She likes other dogs and gets along well with them.

Raiden will be a great companion for a family who has time to give her lots of attention, guidance, and preferably has another dog companion since she had another boxer dog companion in her previous home.

Raiden is a wonderful boxer puppy with lots to give a family.  She has adjusted very well with our family and home in a short time.  She hasn't had any accidents, food aggression, or any other issues.  We are enjoying her puppiness in our home."
