Rocket has been moved to a foster home who has experience working with
dogs with behavioral problems. He was having trust issues with the
previous foster mother and acting inappropriately when strangers would
enter the home He has made great progress since moving. He now weighs
14 pounds.
We feel he needs the following in his forever home: a fenced yard, a well socialized dog sister, a fairly quiet adult home willing to work with him during the lengthy adjustment period and possibly forever with strangers. We have had an overwhelming number of applications for Rocket. If you applied in the past and feel you can provide the home we are looking for, please email the contacts below. If you have not yet submitted an application and can provide this setting for Rocket, please complete the adoption application and then email the contacts below.

THIS ROCKET IS A QUIET CUDDLEBUG
When we agreed to take
Tyson from an
overcrowded high-kill shelter, we were also asked to help two small dogs
who were on the list to be killed named
Gretel
and Rocket Dog. They were not boxers, of course, but we could not leave
them behind. One of our foster homes kindly agreed to foster both of
the little dogs.
