Rocket continues to improve by leaps and bounds. Our vet believes he is most likely a Pekingese mix rather than Pug. He is ready for his new home - are you ready for him?

Rocket has been moved to a foster home who has experience working with dogs with behavioral problems. He was having trust issues with the previous foster mother and acting inappropriately when strangers would enter the home He has made great progress since moving. He now weighs 14 pounds.

We feel he needs the following in his forever home: a fenced yard, a well socialized dog sister, a fairly quiet adult home willing to work with him during the lengthy adjustment period and possibly forever with strangers.

THIS ROCKET IS A QUIET CUDDLEBUG

When we agreed to take Tyson from an overcrowded high-kill shelter, we were also asked to help two small dogs who were on the list to be killed named Gretel and Rocket Dog. They were not boxers, of course, but we could not leave them behind. One of our foster homes kindly agreed to foster both of the little dogs.
