10/28/09: Adopted
10/21/09: No longer
accepting applications for
Pickles
08/12/09:
Pickles
has recovered nicely from
her spay surgery and also
had a broken tooth that was
extracted at the same time.
We have posted some new
pictures of her as well as a
little note from her foster
mom...
"Don't be fooled by the
two pictures of Pickles
sleeping, those were both at
the end of a 8 hour day of
solid play; she is like a
engine who never runs out of
fuel ! She is a little
spitfire and you can see it
in her picture below - that
is how she looks as she gets
into everything throughout
the day!!! She is a absolute
fun, feisty girl who is too
too smart!"

07/27/09:
Pickles
the wild girl goes in for
her spay surgery tomorrow.
Please keep her in your
thoughts and consider
donating to offset her vet
bills. More pictures and a
spunky update coming soon!
06/16/09: New Pictures!
06/11/09: SWEET LITTLE
PICKLES IS NOT SOUR
We
received an email regarding
a deaf female puppy we have
named Pickles. The
woman’s dog had a litter
of puppies, and Pickles was
returned by the people who
purchased her. The
woman was hoping we could
help find this sweet pup a
new home.
We
responded quickly and made
arrangements to have Pickles
transported to a vet for a
basic exam and her second
series of inoculations.
We are also scheduling an
appointment for her to be
spayed.
Pickles
will need a securely fenced
yard and someone who is home
most of the day.
Having other animals in the
family would be ideal.
She also needs people who
can teach her sign
language which will
help guide her safely.
Foster
Mom’s First Update:
“Pickles
is awesome!!! She is
spunky, sassy, smart and a
big lover - what a package!
I believe she is a
descendant of Evil Knievel.
She has the ability to
fearlessly conquer any
obstacle in her way.
She
loves her foster siblings
and has no hesitation
playing with them full
force. They are quite
a bit bigger than her but
they respect her small
stature and are gentle with
her in return.
Pickles
has a great little appetite
and we often call her
"little pork
belly". She is a
rugged little girl compared
to some of our previous
fosters. We are
learning hand
signals with her,
however, we are purposely
proceeding slowly with
training.
We
are letting her spend her
first few days with us just
being a puppy. She
loves getting dirty and
being mischievous (great
combination). Her
potty training is quite
amazing, considering she is
just a puppy; she has some
accidents but overall she is
doing wonderfully."
