“Magoo is rambunctious - loves to run and play with my boxer.  They are really buds!  My boxer seems to be Magoo’s ears.  They are doing so well together.  He is not able to be with the small dogs or cats just yet due to his energy and playful pouncing.  He is free to roam the fenced yard during the day as he pleases and knows how to enjoy himself.

Magoo has good house manners - but he does like to "counter surf" - just needs to get more experience being in a home.  He is quiet - happy and friendly.

Magoo is a love - he needs someone who has one other dog - boxer size - no small dogs or cats (he is not at all aggressive though - so he could calm down and be ok in time).

A special boxer home with another dog who can be Magoo’s ears would be preferred.  He needs to be in a fence or on leash at ALL times.  We have started some training and he is responding well.  He is learning to sit when asked with hand signals.

Magoo needs a calm, consistent handler who does not create fear - he does not like anyone to take hold of his collar or he will pull back or run away.   He is lively, loves running with my boxer and playing the "Boxer Box".

We are happy to say that Magoo has not shown any aggression with food or toward any people.  He is friendly if people approach the fence.  Over all, Magoo is a friendly young Boxer with some special needs, that he does not realize he has!”
