12/06/03 - Saber and Sadie 

When these girls look at me with their trusting eyes I hope for a miracle to place both in the best home available since they deserve the best.You see both girls are from the same loving home.But the parents were divorcing the properties were sold both moved to apartments and the dogs were sent to a shelter.The director of the shelter called me and told me about the pair who sat in the shelter cage confused and crying refusing food because they were so scared I had to get them out.

Saber is the boxer she is six year old beautiful brindle boxer with a face that's always smiling.She is always happy to see everybody and greets everyone with boxer kisses and her boxer wiggle.Her favorite pastime is climbing into your lap and giving as much of her kisses that will be tolerated.A typical boxer she never has a bad day.She is the overachiever of the two and is very outing going and on walks greets every stranger with her charm.She wears her red bandanna with pride and will look for it when its time to go out on her walks.

Sadie is the baby she is a three year old boxer lab mix.If you have seen the movie the GRINCH THAT STOLE CHRISTMAS she reminds me the poor little dog that belonged to the GRINCH she always looks at you with the sad puppy dog eyes.Sadie is the quieter of the two.She is very affectionate but is more submissive.When she wants attention she will lay her head on your lap and slowly will push her head up until your hand is on top patting her.She is a pretty tan color with the most softest fur and a docked tail and weighs forty pounds.She is extremely submissive and gentle and warms up to people after she sees her outgoing big sister getting all the attention she decides she would like some too!

Both girls are fantastic with cats kids and other dogs.They adore car rides(all you have to do is open the car door and they are ready for an adventure).Walk perfectly together on leashes(I walk both together with no problems)ARE left free in the house with no accidents what so ever(totally house broken).And have perfect house manners they never touch anything they are not suppose to.SABER and Sadie are the perfect dogs for the first time dog owners since they are such low maintenance girls they are just so content being with you or just hanging around the house keeping each other company.But they are ALWAYS READY FOR Adventure if you are up to providing one.One thing for sure both girls adore each other and need to be adopted together.You can always find them sleeping next to each other on the couch they give each other kisses constantly.After losing the home they have had all they're lives all they have left is each other.Please if you can provide the girls with a foster home or permanent home email me direct at laurar@together.net you will not be sorry they are the perfect pair that will make a house a home.
