Zena continues to be a very good girl.  She really does not have any bad habits like jumping, begging, etc.  She does not like her crate so i gave her free run in the house.  She is alone for about 8 hours while I’m at work.  When i get home, there she is at the door just where I left her waiting for me.  The house is just how i left it too.  She loves to just be with you and put her big head in your lap.  She is an easy dog- easy to care for and easy to love.  She really needs a family of her own to love or she would also do well with a single person for companionship and protection.

1/11/04 - Zena

Zena is a 4 yr old beautiful, large, and majestic looking, boxer girl. Poor Zena, through no fault of her own, was on her way to the local pound this week until rescue stepped in.

I can't imagine why anyone would not want to keep Zena because she is a quiet, gentle, big sweetheart. Her ears are natural, tail docked, black muzzle and white boots. She is spayed, housebroken, crate trained, is very obedient, and walks very well on a leash. She appears tolerant of children, most other dogs, and cats.

She is a very affectionate dog who doesn't ask for much in return for her love. However Zena is a little confused and sad right now…..Not many boxer wiggles at first, but she is getting better. I hope a loving family can find a place in their home and heart for her soon.
