"
Ariel"
She is great with my children ages 15, 8, and 5, and loves to play. She is rambunctious but seems to know when to be gentle with the kids. She definitely knows the difference between a ball and small fingers.
She enjoys the company of my 8 year old male Boxer but tends to be too playful with him at times and doesn't know enough to stop. There have been some minor confrontations between the two, but their energy levels are not quite matched.
She is mostly house-trained and only has accidents during the night. She is not crate trained, but we are working on that and she shows positive signs of catching on quickly. She has not had any formal obedience training but knows "no" and "come".
Ariel does have some separation anxiety and has shown she does not like to be left alone. She has only been alone for about 45 minutes so far and that was plenty of time for her to prove her point. I don't believe she was shown alot of love and affection most of her life (she is very thin and at times cowers when you raise your hand to pet her) however I am certain that before long she will trust people and this behavior will be greatly diminished.
Ariel is a real charmer with lots of personality and, with a little time and effort working on her house manners, she will be a wonderful addition to almost any family.
