Joey SPECIAL NEEDS How does a 10yr. old blind Chihuahua end up in a Boxer Rescue? There was no way we could leave her at this shelter. She was brought into the shelter after her home was condemned and 67 dogs were taken out. Joey is approx. 10 lbs. and could stand to loose a few. She is totally blind and partially deaf. It takes her a while to learn her surroundings and bumps into everything while doing so. She is an absolute love and will look for you to pick her up. When she finally bumps into you she gets so excited. This little girl is in desperate need of a special home. One that can offer her safety and guidance. She should not be left alone for to long at a time. (she is crate trained but gets upset if she doesn't feel somebody around for a while). She loves other dogs and clearly misses her pack. She must have used many of her pack siblings as guides. How lost she is without them... Please help little Joey. If you are looking for someone to love and care for this is the perfect girl for you. If you are interested in adopting this dog, please fill out an online application first. Then e-mail the contact below. Be sure to include your full name, city, state, and area code in the subject line of your message. |
