Kenos foster mom loves her very much but can not keep her , do to her room-mate situation... Please consider giving Keno a foster or Permanent home:
Here is an update from foster mom

Keno is doing great!!! When she first came here she didn't know what a toy was...now she runs around the house tossing her chew hooves in the air and carrying her tennis ball tug daring Honey to play with her...Which is wonderful b/c after a while my arm gets tired!!

I did a short cat test on her. She didn't attempt to chase my foster cat even though he hissed at her, she just looked at him funny. I am going to try to introduce them again, but that depends on Hunter's (the cat) mood. I walk her around the neighborhood and take her everywhere I can with me, this includes the pet stores, parks, and even to work. She has had no problems. everyone loves her. She is doing much better walking on a harness since it doesn't hurt her rub marks. Please don't forget, she comes with a whole bunch of stuff to her new family, so even a first time owner (adult) doesn't have to get a lot for her. She has a crate, collar, spare collar, tags, leash, harness, food bowl, and toys.

We are still working on training, but she is coming along. Her worst thing is that she doesn't know she's a BIG dog!!

06/21/03 - Keno

This pretty girl is Keno and unfortunately she is looking for a home. Keno was adopted from a shelter about 5 years ago, her owner who loves her very much is now very sick and a family member is fostering her until they find her a permanent home.

We met Keno yesterday and found her to be a very sweet girl. She gets along great with other dogs, loves car rides , understands sit and appears to be very active and in good health. Keno does not feel comfortable around young children and cats.. but does do well with smaller dogs. Her age is a guess because her original owners were not sure of her exact age when they took her out of the shelter.

This poor girl has already had about 4 homes and is in need of a permanent family and home, if you can offer her that please email us as soon as possible.
