Kylie is a sweet, playful Boxer girl. She rides very well in the car and loves to curl up in the front seat and put her head near you. She is such a cuddle-bug and will lay on the floor and snuggle with you for hours. She does need some basic obedience training. Kylie will sit, down, give paw and heel, and loves to walk... but watch out for those crazy squirrels...she will try to run after them. She is a very strong little girl and would love to have a family that can play with her. She would be best as a single dog in the home since her personality is so big it can fill a room. She is a great guard dog and will bark if someone approaches the car. Kylie is housebroken and has a healthy appetite. Remember, she is still a puppy and needs to put on some more weight to fill out her recent growth spurt. 

Kylie doesn't get on the furniture or the bed. She does love to sit and lay on a softer spot like a sheepskin or dog pillow. She will make a wonderful addition to a family that has someone willing to spend time with this growing girl to train and teach her. She will worm her way into your heart with those big brown eyes and those little Boxer kisses for just a few dog biscuits.

07/27/03 - Kylie

This is Kylie, a sweet 9-month old pup who just came into rescue. Her original owners bought her as a companion for their female Boxer, who wasn’t as appreciative as they hoped when Kylie got to be about the same height, and began competing for all the attention. They found her a new home with a nice family who also had a female – this time, a Golden Retriever who didn’t understand Kylie’s roughhouse play (and the fact that she took the occasional mouthful of the Golden’s tailfeathers off in the middle of a chase!).

She is now staying in a foster home, and they said she rode beautifully in the car, as soon as she was allowed to sleep on someone's lap! We’ll update her page with a bio as soon as her foster mom has had a chance to put one together. Kylie is housetrained and super-cute – watch for updates!
