Things are well here this morning. Marnie slept on the
> bed with us (me, my husband and Gabi) for about half
> the night last night then she moved to her dog bed on
> the floor (probably because it was so hot). We took
> the dogs for a walk this morning. As soon as we said
> the word walk that boxer wiggle kicked in - she was so
> excited. She was fabulous on the leash - no pulling
> at all - just walked right next to me on a loose
> leash. I even struck up a jog for a little while to
> see what she would do and she kept right up, running
> beside me. We ran across a little girl about 4 years
> old that wanted to pet the dogs and Marnie was great -
> she licked her hand and let her pat her for a few
> minutes, clearly enjoying it.

She just had a bath and she loved it! She did her little moan and lick the air thing while I was scrubbing her. When we were finished I took her out of the bathtub and she turned around to come back in!

She's so cute. Now her white is glistening and clean!

Marine according to the vet records was born in 1996 so she is actually seven years young here is a recent update on this sweetie:

>> She rode in the car great - she layed in the backseat
>> (I have a pickup with an extracab) on her new dog bed
>> and Gabi layed in the passenger seat. She slept the
>> whole way, only stood up a couple of times when I
>> slowed down, and didn't try to come in the front at
>> all. She is super sweet, and does the boxer wiggle
>> when you talk to her. She loves to have her body
>> scratched all over and when you do she gives a little
>> groan noise and licks the air. It is so cute. She is
>> a very calm, mild mannered dog in the house, but has
>> quite a bit of energy when playing in the back yard.
>> She chased my Boston Terrier around the yard five or
>> six times at full speed and then calmed right down
>> when brought back inside. She has no food aggression
>> whatsoever - she let my dog stick her head right in
>> her food bowl.
>>
>> Tomorrow I'll give her a bath and take her for a walk
>> to see how she is on a leash. I'll keep you posted!

07/22/03 - Marnie

Bad things should not happen to such a great boxer girl. Marnie is an eight year old female boxer that ended up in a shelter when her owners became homeless and could not care for her any longer. This girl is a total angel she is wonderful with dogs, cats and kids.  She knows many obedience commands lay down, sit shake and speak.

She has a wonderful boxer personality and loves giving her boxer kisses and wiggles to whomever she meets and gives her attention. She is housetrained and enjoys her walks and belly rubs.

Please open your heart and home to this special girl.  please email
