his little dog is Oreo, who was rescued from the Brooklyn Shelter. He's a little shih tzu male about 5 yrs old. He is such a little cutie, and pleasant like you wouldn't believe. He gets along with other dogs, made friends with all of mine. Hung out with me in the grooming shop all day, just laying at my feet. 

He was in very sad shape when he came here. His legs were so matted that it took me over an hour just to free them. He had to be clipped very short, but when he starts to grow back in, he will be much cuter. 

He would be ideal for an older person to have to just spoil him rotten. He's up to date on shots, but will be going to the vet's on Friday to be neutered (I didn't tell him that yet.) I have a male shih tzu who is almost 11 yrs old, and he still is very playful. I think when this guy gets to feeling better, with a few good meals in him, he's going to really perk up.
