Molly and Star have been in foster care and are doing well.  However, their foster mom has recently taken a second job and does not have as much time to spend with them.  These two lovely ladies have sadly been overlooked by people wanting to adopt and they are in desperate need of a permanent home without cats.  Please consider adopting this wonderful pair….you won’t be sorry.  Below is the latest update from their foster mom:

Molly and Star have been great. They play well with children and each other.  They love being outside running around chasing after each other.  They pretty much keep themselves entertained, but they absolutely love it when other's join in.

Molly and Star

Molly and Star are a very sweet mother and daughter pair looking for a good home!

Molly is the mom and is a 5 year old fawn female. She is the quieter of the two - and is a real love. Molly has a neurological problem that makes her somewhat unsteady on her feet due to impaired balance and coordination. However....after you spend a short time with Molly her charming personality makes her condition inconsequential.

Star is the 3 year old daughter and is just a bundle of energy! She also has fawn coloring and looks just like her mother. Molly craves attention - and is just a wonderful little sweetheart!

Both Molly and Star depend on one another - and need to be placed in a home that can accommodate a dynamic duo. They both have excellent manners and are wonderful boxers! They prefer to be the only two pets in the house and definitely need a home without cats. Unfortunately, they need to be moved from their current foster home because of the resident felines.

Below is a report from their temporary foster home:

"Molly and Star are very friendly with everyone...even with total strangers. My 9 year old granddaughter spent 2 days with us and both dogs loved playing with her. They are crate trained and let you know when they need to go out. They are well behaved inside the house, and do not disturb anything that is left on counters or is laying around the house. They have no food aggression whatsoever, and allow their bowls to be moved or handled when they are eating.

They both love company and thrive when given attention. Both walk nicely on the leash. Molly does tremble and walks unsteadily but walks very good on the grass and on a flat non slippery surface. They love being together, groom themselves, and play nicely. Molly of course needs less exertion than Star; she does get tired and needs rest and quiet. Star is full of energy, loves to walk and play, enjoys rubdowns, sits for her dog cookies, and is a very nice well behaved and happy boxer girl (they both are). They need a house with NO CATS, not sure about other dogs."
