| 01/18/03:
I can't believe no one wants Star. Just because she is a mix breed. There is no one cuter or sweeter. She is still stuck in the kennel. Can't anyone open their home to her. Staying in a kennel for long periods of time is so stressful for our dogs. Because she has been in the kennel so long she becomes too much for another dog. She gets over stimulated while playing with other dogs. We see this when dogs are deprived of love and attention. She is wonderful with people and in time might be able to tolerate living with other dogs. But for now she must be an only pet. 11/15/02: Star is still at the kennel. We put her in the play area with Copper and they had such a good time. Star loves other dogs and is a very happy lady. She would fit into any family with children over five. 11/04/02 - Star Star is a two year old tiny little boxermix about 35lb. She is fawn and white and has natural ears and tail. She was turned into the shelter as her people were moving and they said she was only a stray. How heartbreaking for her. Now she needs to find a home that will really love her. She is a ball of energy, fast, needs a fenced in yard. She played with other dogs at the dogpark and she thinks she is top dog in a small package. So a submissive male dog would be OK. She does not like being crated and knows basic command as sit, stay no. and down. So if you are up to keeping up with a cute little girl please let us know. She is spayed and up to date on shots.
