This dog has been adopted but has not yet completed the two week "trial period" in it's new home. Should the placement prove to be a poor fit for dog and/or family, he/she will be moved to the AVAILABLE section on the Available Dogs page.
6/7 - Update -
We have discovered that Bridgette prefers to be an only dog as she does not
seem to enjoy the company of other dogs. Bridgette needs some obedience work
and is a very sweet girl.
5/17/01 -Bridgette is a 2.5 year old flashy fawn boxer. She is housebroken, up to date on shots and spayed. Bridgette is full of energy and loves to play. Bridgette would do best with a nice fenced in yard with lots of space to run around to burn off some of that energy and she would probably enjoy the company of another young dog to play with. She seems to be fine with other dogs but may have some issues sharing food and toys. She is very friendly and affectionate. She knows to sit but does not always come when called (we are working on that!) She pulls a little bit on the leash and weaves from side to side, so some basics obedience training might be a good idea. She loves to ride in the car and go for walks. She loves to play with toys and she has a very good appetite which is good as she is a bit skinny and could do with gaining a few pounds. She listens well and is well behaved.
