Brittany is still looking for a home. She is a wonderful dog - we
have found that she is good with kids over 6-7 yrs. She gets along with some dogs, but there is no pattern -  it's just who she decides she wants to get along with, so I prefer she be placed in an only dog home .  

She requires a fenced in yard. Here are some new pictures.

8/20/02 - Brittany is a three year old female.  She came into rescue from the local shelter and has been adjusting to life in her new foster home.  She will need an assertive owner and a home without small children.  We are unsure of her past except that she was kept in a crate for months and her only interaction was when someone would put food in her crate for her, so her social skills are lacking. 

She is adjusting very well, considering the circumstances.  It has taken a few days, but she's warming up to Bill, her foster dad.  She definitely likes her foster mom better.   She also has a foster brother, Reggie (a chocolate lab), and she just loves him - but she is a bit forceful in her play so we suggest a home without other dogs or a home with a very passive dog, would be best.
