"Buddy"

This dog has been adopted but has not yet completed the two week "trial period" in it's new home. We are no long accepting applications or inquiries. Should the placement prove to be a poor fit for dog and/or family, he/she will be moved to the AVAILABLE section on the Available Dogs page.

• 1/17/01 - Here is an update on Ol Buddy. Buddy is doing great in his foster home.  He is housebroken and is great with the 3 kids in his foster home. He loves everyone. He is even better with the 3 cats in the house.  We are starting his HW treatment on Mon. after a kennel cough sacked him for awhile but he is fighting it off and the vet will start HW meds next week. He is a fighter. 
  
  I had a call last night from the lady that tried to get Buddy away from his owner and in to a better life for the past 3 yrs. She was crying after I told her how Buddy adjusted so easily to indoor life. She was relieved to hear how he is safe and warm after having to listen to him cry every night when they locked him in the shed in the yard. She used to watch him dig a hole and try to bury himself to hide from the flies attacking him all summer. She would bring him blankets and ear medication all on a retirees income. Its nice to know people care, we owe it to Buddy to find him a great home of his own for his last years. We thank God she called us to help him, He deserves it!!

   

• 12/26/00 - Buddy, an old boy but a good ol boy! He was rescued from the hell of 9 yrs. of living tied out in a backyard without even a doghouse. He is sweet and eager to please. He is good with other dogs and cats. We will give an update on Buddy as we find out more once he is in his foster home.

  Buddy needs a forever home!
