Butchie is a uniquely handsome 10 month-old male Boxer/Springer
Spaniel-mixed dog. He was found as a stray when he was only 3 months
old and was brought to the local animal hospital/shelter. When nobody
came to claim him, the doctor at the hospital neutered and vaccinated him.
A nice family adopted him, but he was soon returned because he chased their
cats.
Butchie has been living in a cage at the hospital for the past 5 months.
I am a technician at this hospital and I have been taking Butchie home with
me as much as I can for the past few months. He is such a good boy!
He does not bark and is very well mannered in my apartment. Butchie
also knows to go to the door when he needs to go the bathroom. He is also a
great running partner. He really is such a great pup…I wish I
could keep him myself, but unfortunately, landlords will be landlords.
Butchie is a lovable pup with energy to spare and he will do best as an only
pet. He has had “playdates” with other dogs, but Butchie likes to
play rough, which other dogs do not always like. Older children rather than
younger would also be recommended.
Butchie desperately needs to find a home. He has spent too much of his young
life in a cage. If you are looking for a special dog to love, Butchie
