"Carson"

This dog has been adopted but has not yet completed the two week "trial period" in it's new home. We are no long accepting applications or inquiries. Should the placement prove to be a poor fit for dog and/or family, he/she will be moved to the AVAILABLE section on the Available Dogs page.

• 10/6/01 - Carson was found as a stray and brought to a shelter to wait in vain for his family to claim him. The person that found him thought surely someone would be frantically looking for this wonderful dog. Carson is not only handsome, he is well behaved, walks well on a leash, and wiggles up a storm for everyone he meets. He also appears to be good with other dogs and is tolerant of cats. The little dogs in the home that found Carson liked to attack him and hang from his throat (very tolerant indeed). Our veterinarian estimates his age at about 1 1/2 or 2 years old. Carson has some fattening up to do (he came in very underweight), but with a little TLC he will no doubt shine in no time.
