3/15/00 - Champ was picked up as a stray in the Rochester area. As you can see from the photo's, he's had a rough time. But that certainly hasn't dampened his spirit any! He is a very sweet and loving dog that can wiggle with the best of them.
The vet
estimates his age at about 5 years. He has a few minor dental problems
but the main issue at this point is he tested positive for heartworm.
We are arranging treatment for him now - but he needs a quiet place to rest
while he recovers. If you can provide such a place, on a foster or
permanent basis, please contact us ASAP.
