"Coco & Princess"
 

• 2/16/01 - Well there is good news about my "sister" Princess...she went to live with a family member, but unfortunately they had to leave me behind. There are young children in the family and I am not used to having little ones around. I'm glad for her but I really miss everyone. 
  
  My life has been turned upside down, and I am not very happy. All I need is a little stability back in my life so I can stop worrying about what's going to happen to me next. At 10 years old I don't bounce back from stress as easily as I did when I was younger. Please open your heart and your home to me...you won't be sorry. I've got lots of affection to share. I'm healthy and ready to give  my all. Where are you... I don't know how much longer I can stand to wait.

• 12/27/00 - Hello.  My name is Coco.  What happened?  My daddy/owner has gone somewhere and left me in a kennel for two months.  I overheard someone talking about how he was involved in a serious car accident on the Massachusetts Turnpike.  He is now paralyzed from the neck down and can no longer take care of me.  My “sister” and friend, Princess (the boxer I lived with my owner) and I are very upset.  Princess is losing weight rapidly in this kennel and I don’t know how much longer we can take it.  We lived in a wonderful home with a lot of property and we took good care of our Master.  He took us for rides in the car all the time and we often went for walks by the lake in Wakefield.  He lived alone so he really needed us to keep him busy.  Princess and I played together every day outside.  We are very well trained.  I am the older dog in the household (almost 10yrs old), so I like to sleep whenever I get a chance.  Mostly I would just look out for my Owner and keep him company.  I was his best friend and we talked together about everything.  I miss my Owner so much.  Since my Owner cannot take care of me anymore, can you please help me?

   

  Hello.  My name is Princess.  My daddy/owner has gone somewhere and left me in a kennel for two months.  I overheard someone talking about how he was involved in a serious car accident on the Massachusetts Turnpike.  He is now paralyzed from the neck down and can no longer take care of me.  My “sister” and friend, Coco (the boxer I lived with my owner) and I are very upset.  I am a fun loving, spirited dog, good with children, and usually I am very happy.  But I have been living in this kennel for two months now and I am very sad.  I am worried about my sister, Coco, that some people will say she is too old to adopt.  But I know she is a nice dog that will fit in anywhere.  Both of us are very well trained.  I am very active and I liked to tease Coco and keep her on her toes.  I love children and I love to play with my ball.   I also love going outside for long walks.  We had a wonderful house and a great property and I miss it so much!  I am a good dog and I know you will fall in love with me when you see me.  I have wonderful, warm brown eyes and I wiggle a lot when I am happy.   Won’t you take care of me please?  My owner adopted me from another family that had to move far away so I understand the adoption process.  I settled right in with my Owner and I know I will settle in easily with you.  Please help me.
