"Dixie"


This dog has been adopted but has not yet completed the two week "trial period" in it's new home. We are no long accepting applications or inquiries. Should the placement prove to be a poor fit for dog and/or family, he/she will be moved to the AVAILABLE section on the Available Dogs page.

• 4/26/00 - Dixie is an 8 month old female white boxer, 50 lbs, and she is deaf. She is very sweet and loving and she loves to cuddle and play. She is housebroken and she behaves very well around the house. She enjoys playing with other dogs and is good around children. She is a little shy when she goes someplace new, but she adjusts quickly. When she met a cat outside yesterday she was observant but she did not chase. She rides well in the car, she lets me handle her food with no problems and she's a good eater. She seems equally content to play with the dogs or people, and she is usually following me or one of the dogs through the house and yard.
