This dog has been adopted
but has not yet completed the two week "trial period" in it's new
home. Should
the placement prove to be a poor fit for dog and/or family, he/she will be moved
to the AVAILABLE section on the Available Dogs page.
4/12/00 - Doc is a flashy fawn male about 1 yrs old. He was brought into the shelter by a friend of the owner,
so he had to be held there until they could get in touch with the owner, otherwise he had a holding
period of 2 weeks. So there he was looking so sad for 2 weeks. We finally were able to remove him,
and get him all cleaned up by one of our wonderful vets. Before we could get him posted to the site,
the perfect home came along. Here is what they said the first night they got him home:
"As I write this email our new member of our family lays on our futon in the computer room resting after his busy day. We went and saw Sash yesterday and fell in love with him. So we went down and picked up Doc today. We renamed him because Jen is a Physical Therapist and I am in a month away from being a Nurse so we figured we have a PT and a Nurse but we need a Doc in the house. We are going to take a picture of him a before pic. and then an after when we nurse him back to health. So thank you very much with all your help and we will keep you posted on Doc's progress."
