4/30/00 - Here is
George. George was found stray by a wonderful woman that took him in. She had kept him
for 5 days- only to fall madly in love with him, but was unable to keep him due to her living situation.
She has a male Newfoundland that got along great with George, so we suspect he would be fine
with other dogs. Don't know about cats or kids. She left him alone in the house not crated and said
he was fine. George is a low key kind of guy. He is very calm as far as boxers go, and real mush
face. He is excellent on a leash- he actually leans on you while walking. He must have been taught to
heel while off leash, because he looks at the leash as if it is something quite foreign.
George hates to be in a crate, he actually found a way to escape from the crate on numerous occasions while in foster
care. He also does not go to the bathroom while on the leash. He would do best in a home with a
yard, where he can make while off leash. We suspect that George is about 5 years old.
