Up: Bobby
hi! i'm
writing to update you on the story of bobby...
(http://www.boxerrescue.com/bobby0401.htm) now known to us as bowzer. i'm the oldest girl in the family that adopted him, and i don't think the rest of my family is very adept at sending e-mails. anyway!
i wanted to say that we absolutely adore bowzer, he's such a character. he had some problems with all the people in brooklyn at first, but now he gets along fine. he goes CRAZY when my stepfather comes home- bowzer loves him to DEATH. at first he wasn't allowed on couches or the bed, but worked his boxer magic and now has free reign of the house. that brat.
he was a real picky eater at first, too. too much stress, i suppose. the vet gave us a special diet of lamb and rice to put him on (which spoiled him rotten) though, and now he's actually more than skin and bones. He loves most everyone at this point, although he jumps on them. He's still a chewer, but not too much. (his most recent adventure in eating objects was a heating pad. not plugged in, thank god.)
anyway, i thought you might want to put this up for him as a happy ending or something :3 rest assured that as soon as i get a place of my own, i'm going to be rescuing as many boxers as i can affourd to feed. they're the greatest dogs in the world, and deserve nothing more than constant love!
also, here is a picture of bowser and i.
thanks for the great memories. this is our second adopted boxer, and i'm sure he won't be the last.
