Follow Up: Daisy

Hello From Upstate New York! Just wanted to send you this update on our baby. Daisy came to us from New York Boxer Rescue. Her owners brought her to their vet to be put to sleep because she was allergic to plastic.

Both of her ears were all scabbed up and bleeding from this "allergy". Daisy does have allergies, but we don't believe that it is to plastic. We have figured out that she is sensitive to any kind of human and canine skin preparations (lotions and shampoos), and also is allergic to rawhide chewies. We have Daisy on a hypoallergenic diet, along with "Petzyme", which is an all natural, herbal supplement designed specifically for animals with allergies.

We are happy to report that she is in great shape now! Daisy is your typical boxer girl....she LOVES children, loves to snuggle, and thinks that she is a lap dog. She quickly made friends with the resident kitty, although kitty would much prefer to snuggle than play....but after a quick "box to the nose" reminder, Daisy remembers that kitty is boss, and not to play with. Her love for children is so heart warming!!! When she hears the school bus, the tail starts a-waggin, and the butt starts wigglin'. She is such a sweet and gentle soul ~ she has brought so much joy to us!
