Follow Up: Jake (was Buddy) Photos of Buddy (now Jake) adopted by Kim Westad and Jeff Bellantoni October 13, 2002. Jake is living happily in Brooklyn, NY. He has given us more joy than we ever expected to receive from a pet. Jake passed obedience school with ease, and loves to run-run-run at the dog run. He is so well-behaved we don't even have to crate him when we leave him alone in the apartment (except for the loaf of bread he munched down a few weeks ago!). Even though he constantly gets compliments on the street from passers-by, he has remained humble and held on to his Boxer demeanor!
