Happy Beginnings and Follow up: Doc

Here are some pictures of our baby boy Doc. We had adopted Doc from you in April of 2000. It was the best thing we had ever done. We love him so much! Jennifer my wife and I would rather be homeless then ever give up a dog like Doc. We make sure that we cuddle with him everyday when we get home from work. Everyday the question is asked "Did you cuddle with Doc today?"

Soon we will be moving from New Haven, CT to Peoria, Il. so I can attend Nurse Anesthesia school. That sad looking dog that you remember from NY will be a mid-western for couple of years. We love Doc so much that it is hard to imagine life with out him. He has been there through our ups and downs. With the appearance of more whiskers on his muzzle and if you look close enough you can see slight grey. At Christmas Jennifer gave me a ornament that said to Daddy from Doc and it brought tears to my eyes knowing that someday I will be hanging it up when he is not around. Do not get wrong, Doc is in great health in-fact we played in the snow today. He loves the snow, hates the rain, but when it snows he looks out the window then at us. His eyes saying "Is it time to go and play yet". 

At his Grandparents' house in RI where uncle Norman lives, Doc has a female puppy brindle boxer he plays with. He knew of the bat that this Boxers was just like him. They are best friends and whenever the other is outside they will go over to the house and wait at the door as if Can Doc/Zoe come out to play. This family got a Boxer because Doc one day went over to visit them and they fell in love with Doc. So they went out and got a boxer! We found out the story months later when Doc one day wondered in their house to visit. In Jen's parents' neighborhood everyone knows each other dogs and of course Doc when he visits. 

You had said that Doc was a perfect fit for us you were right on the money. He truly is the best Dog in the world!!
