"Jackie"
This
dog has been adopted but has not yet completed the two week "trial
period" in it's new home. Should the placement prove to be a poor fit for dog
and/or family, he/she will be moved to the AVAILABLE section on the Available
Dogs page.
4/3/01 - Jackie
is a twelve week old fawn female. She was purchased about one week ago. Her
new family is not sure what happened but she tore the ligament in her knee.
Her knee is very unstable and she requires surgery to repair it. Her new
family did not want the responsibility and surrendered her to rescue. Jackie
will have a board certified orthopedic specialist operate on her knee
Wednesday, April 4th. She will be ready for her forever home shortly after
that. She will need restricted activity for a few weeks to a
month.
Please consider sending a donation to help pay for Jackie's surgery. Even a
small donation can help! Rescue has helped so many needy Boxers recently and
we are short of funds. The veterinarians who treat these dogs reduce their
fees but it still adds up.
