Jasmine is a 2.5 yo spayed female that is being returned to rescue.
She has been trained on invisible fencing. Her original information is
below and the following was written by her current home:
"Jasmine has lived with us for about one year. She is an extremely friendly,
healthy and active girl. She has done very well with our other boxer, Tyson
(sitting behind Jasmine in the attached picture), and she has been wonderful
with our two children (ages 5 and 7). Jasmine loves being around people and
often follows me to whatever room I am in to sit next to me as I am doing my
work. She is still young and therefore has a lot of energy. She enjoys walks and she also likes to chase and retrieve tennis balls. She is a good
eater (usually 2 - 21/2 cups of dog chow in the morning and in the evening).
It was a difficult decision to send Jasmine back to the rescue society, but we really feel that she would be much happier in a home where someone stays
at home during the day. Both my husband and I work and are gone for up to 10 hours sometimes during the day, and while she has Tyson for company, she
has a hard time not being around people.
She has had excellent check ups from the Vet. (she just had an annual physical in July and everything checked out well).
All in all, she is a very loving and wonderful dog - we will miss her, but we think this will be the best thing for her. Jasmine is in the front of
the attached photograph."

| Foster Family report: Jasmine gets along
GREAT with other dogs! She has never growls, snapped or anything - even upon initial
meetings. While she enjoys the dogs for rough and tumble play - people are her
favorite. She has loved everyone she's met and loves to give kisses. Her tail
goes a mile a minute constantly. She has gotten along fine with our birds, horses
and doesn't even try to chase the barn cats! Jasmine has jumped our four foot fence on several occasions - but only to join us for a trip to the barn. She is not a runner - listened perfectly on her escape adventures. She is now kept in the house when we do barn chores and never jumps the fence when out with the other dogs. Jasmine was spayed on 9/29/99, is heartworm negative, fecal negative and has been treated for fleas. She currently weighs about 48 pounds but needs to gain quite a bit of weight. She is crate trained and housebroke - not a single accident! |
