"Lucy Lou"

• 5/9/01 - Lucy Lou is a 6-7 week old 3 pound female puppy.  We were asked to take her and her brother Spike into rescue and find great homes for them as they were the result of an unwanted pregnancy which often happens when people neglect to spay and neuter their pets.  
  
  We were told the father was a purebred boxer and the mother a purebred walker coonhound (a walker coonhound is a little bigger than a beagle) - but we were unable to see or get photo's of the parents.  Everyone loves a puppy - but we will be looking for committed homes that are in it for the long haul!  Who knows what these pups will grow up to look like - but they deserve a home that will provide them with the training, safety and love that all dogs deserve - for the REST of their lives.  
  
  Lucy Lou is a sweet little girl that loves to cuddle.  She plays rough and tumble with her brother and her smaller size does not hold her back any!  When she gets tired, she finds her crate and curls up inside for a nap!  She has been to the vet for his first puppy shot and worming.  She's eating GREAT and has a very good start on her potty training.
  
  If you are home all day and can give Lucy the constant attention she needs, please let us know.  Remember, puppies are a big responsibility... and a big clean up job!  If you don't mind potty training and a few rug stains, you may just be ready for this baby!
