5/3/00 - Maisy has returned from the vet and is better than ever. As you can see from these new
photos, she is looking like a new dog already. She is still a little swollen and will have to take it easy
for about 2 weeks while she heals from the spay surgery. She is safe and sound in her foster home,
where she has already made herself very cozy. Her sweet disposition and gentle manner make her a
real love. She walks very well on a leash, we think she is housebroken, and is not phased by much of
anything. She is on the mellow side for a boxer (at least so far) and seems to be very easy going. She seems to be a dominant female, therefore needs to placed with a male or as an only dog.

4/29/00 - Maisy is a shy girl that was brought into the shelter yesterday. She is a fawn with black mask,
natural ears, and natural tail. She was sitting very quietly in the corner of her cage at the shelter,
and allowed me to come in and pet her. She is definitely very sweet, but is confused and doesn't
know what is happening to her.
I was unable to take her out and play because of a medical issue with her uterus. This is not serious
and can and will be corrected as soon as possible. We will keep you posted.
Maisy is approximately 2-3 years old, and is to be vetted sometime this weekend. When we know
more about her and her personality, we will let you know. In the meantime, fill out an
online application so you'll be ready for her when she's ready to go home!
