5/21/00 -Max is returning to rescue because he and the other male he was placed with are beginning to feel the need to show their dominance over one another. Max is very sweet, he should be placed with a female or as an only dog. His family will be sad to let him go, but we have assured them that he will only go to a wonderful family.
1/24/00 - Max is a sweet, handsome 18 month old dark fawn boxer with white markings, natural ears and FULL TAIL. He was rescued from the street, starving and apparently chewed up by another dog. He is recovering nicely, with only a few scabs still healing, and has been neutered. He is very friendly, affectionate, and generally obedient, having learned basic commands. He is good with small children, and seems to get along with other dogs, as long as they are not too dominant. He goes easily into his crate, but doesn't like being left there too long. He is not completely housetrained, but is coming along well. What a sweet guy! He would make a devoted family pet if given the chance.

1/24/00 - Max is an 18 month old neutered male fawn and white natural ears found as a stray in Brooklyn on Christmas Eve. He has been in foster care since and was neutered on 1/19 and had shots and blood work done. He received a clean bill of health other than an infection in his tail. It may have to be docked due to the infection. He is good with kids and other dogs, not yet housebroken but working on that, good in a crate and car. He is thin at about 45lbs and friendly.
