NORTHEASTERN BOXER RESCUE
"
Morgan & Diesel"
They are being surrendered into rescue because they have been jumping a section of the fence that is three feet high and it is feared that they will get killed by a car. They are coming out of their second home, who got the dogs from someone that had a baby and no longer wanted them. However, they have been excellent with the young children in this most recent home.
They appear to be good with other dogs, since they have been known to bring back a few canine friends from their romps in the neighborhood. They currently live with a cat, but they like to torment her. When they get scratched they just run away. They are not great on a leash and do pull quite a bit. They are not used to being in a car very much, and will pace around and pant.
Both dogs are friendly, but Diesel is unsure of men in uniform and hats. He does warm up to them eventually. He does not have this reaction to woman. Morgan is fine with strangers...she does bark at first, but eventually winds up licking them. They are both healthy as far as we know, but Diesel can not eat table scraps.
Morgan and Diesel are used to having someone with them most of the time, and are given access to the entire house while someone is home. When left alone they are put together in one crate because whenever they sleep they feel that they must be touching one another.
Please contact us if you
can provide Morgan and Diesel a forever home together. They are a wonderful
pair that have much to give a family that will love and care for them for
the rest of their lives.
