"Petey"

This dog has been adopted but has not yet completed the two week "trial period" in it's new home. We are no long accepting applications or inquiries. Should the placement prove to be a poor fit for dog and/or family, he/she will be moved to the AVAILABLE section on the Available Dogs page.

2/2/01 - Petey is a flashy fawn male. He is two years old and living with a foster family in Manhattan. They report he is the sweetest foster dog they have had. Petey is great with other dogs and completely housebroken.

His Foster home writes: "Petey is adapting slowly. He's VERY shy. He is VERY particular about his bathroom habits... He's EXTREMELY picky about his food (wouldn't eat anything without turkey gravy on top). And he's not too responsive yet to attempts to play. But he's definitely growing friendlier and more curious... Someone will be VERY happy to have him as a companion. He's also very well behaved around other dogs."
