"Rufus"

This dog has been adopted but has not yet completed the two week "trial period" in it's new home. We are no long accepting applications or inquiries. Should the placement prove to be a poor fit for dog and/or family, he/she will be moved to the AVAILABLE section on the Available Dogs page.

• 4/6/00 - Rufus is only 8 months old but already weighs approximately 70 lbs. He was surrendered by his owner because a change in work schedules would require that Rufus be left alone for too many hours during the day. He is a very dark brindle and he's crate trained and house trained. He gets along well with other dogs (not sure about cats) and he likes children. However, because of his size, older children would be better for him. He is a typical love bug of a boxer boy! He is up to date on his shots, will be neutered later this week and will be available for adoption at that time.
