This dog has been adopted but has not yet completed the two week "trial period" in it's new home. We are no long accepting applications or inquiries. Should the placement prove to be a poor fit for dog and/or family, he/she will be moved to the AVAILABLE section on the Available Dogs page.

• 6/30/01 - Both dogs were spayed and neutered this week, had all of their shots and were tested for parasites and heartworm, thankfully both were negative. After very careful examination and watching the two of them together I think that they are not littermates ,unless one is older then the other, but possibly mother and son. Samson appears to be about two to three years old and Delilah about four years old. She likes to clean his face with sloppy kisses, they walk well together, eat together and she lets him drink first. He seems to be more confident then her, he ran out into the yard and she follows him everywhere. They love people, and both dogs are big kissers. It would be very sad not to have this duo stay together, so if you are interested in them as a team please e-mail us after filling out the online application.

• 6/23/01- Samson and Delilah are two very lucky boxers, they were left tied to a vets office in Brooklyn who almost sent them to the shelter but a vet tech contacted NY Boxer rescue who then claimed the duo. They are believed to be littermates as they resemble each other and are very attached .Both are fawn, cropped and docked and a very healthy 70lbs plus. The pair are about two years old and walk well on leash. All of their medical work will be done on Monday and we will be looking for a foster or forever home for these two on Wednesday.
