This dog has been adopted but has not yet completed the two week "trial period" in it's new home. Should the placement prove to be a poor fit for dog and/or family, he/she will be moved to the AVAILABLE section on the Available Dogs page.
4/26/00 - Socket is a one-eyed Boxer/Pit mix. He's approximately 50lbs., fawn with white. Tall and lanky, uses his paws just like a Boxer. He lost his eye when viciously attacked by another dog at the age of 8 weeks old. He is now 8.5 months, housebroken, crate trained, obedience trained, neutered and vaccinated. He loves other dogs and gets along great with cats (I have 2 dogs and 4 cats). He is very energetic and extremely affectionate. He's basically a big mush and loves to be with people all the time. He's great with children as well. He has adapted very well to his disability, the only effect his sight lose has on him is that he's not the most graceful of dogs.
