"Stacey"
I've been
Adopted!!
3/23/00 - Stacey has been adopted! And what a lucky girl she is. She has been adopted by a woman that runs
the pet therapy program at a hospital on the Hudson River in Upstate NY! She also has a human
brother that is 11 years old that just adores her. Stacey, who has separation anxiety, will never be
left home alone again. She goes with her new owner (Beth), her new brother, a yorki, and 3 parrot
bros and sisters to the hospital everyday. She has a fenced in yard at the hospital where she gets to
play with her Lab friend everyday in between training sessions and patient visits. Just goes to show
you how one persons interpretation of a dog could be so incredibly different from another persons. Beth (New owner) temperament tested Stacey for
the therapy program, and said she had never seen such a great candidate!!!! Stacey is really a special
girl that deserved this special life!
3/9/00 - Stacey is an all white bundle of joy! She is deaf, but you would never know it. She is
extremely alert, and knows what is going on at all times. She even sits when given a hand signal. Her
one clear blue eye, and one brown eye are quite unusual, and brilliant! When she is home alone she
must be crated because she has separation anxiety, but if she is around people, she won't get into a
thing. She loves other dogs, doesn't mind cats and wants all the attention you can give her. She
would do well in a home with kids- she is very gentle and barely jumps up (for a boxer) -even to say
hello. I think she would appreciate the company of another dog, children or someone who is home
during the day.

- All About Stacey...
She is a beautiful all WHITE female boxer who was born deaf Stacey has one brown eye and one blue
eye. She LOVES EVERYONE, She is very friendly with children of all
ages. She shows no aggression at all. She also gets along with other dogs. SHE TRIES TO BE FRIENDLY WITH CATS. Sometimes she sleeps
in her crate at night, if not she sleeps in one of our beds. She really thinks she is human. She knows how to
sit with hand singles, but has never had any formal training.
The reason we have to give her up is my husband is allergic to her ( SHE CANT UNDERSTAND WHY HE CANT PET HER). Stacey cries when we leave. She will bang her head on the window as we are leaving. We do not want her to hurt her self so we started Crating her. We have been working to many hours to give her the love she truly deserves. She would be best in a home with somebody there at all times. She is up to date on all her shots and is spayed.
